all i need is Your love

as i sit here and think
about all that You've done
about how You gave me Your one and only Son
and i'm trying to fathom
all that You are, but so far, Lord
You're so beyond me

RB

Those who were not told about Him will see,
and those who have not heard will understand.

the lines on His face

years ago
He was a swinging speck
in the distance;
now
He is close enough
i can hear His singing.
soon
i will see
the lines on His face.

the joy

never let anything
so fill you
with pain or sorrow
so as to make you forget
the joy
of Christ Risen.

restore unto me
the joy of Your salvation
and grant in me a willing spirit
to sustain me.
psalm 51

the day of the hotdog

today
my friend zach
ate his first hotdog ever.

the day of the hotdog
4.3.08

lead us back to life in You

we're a valley of dry bones
lead us back to life in You.
we've become a talent show
lead us back to life in You.
we've been throwing heavy stones
lead us back to life in You.

again He said unto me, prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, o ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord...behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live...
